The DK G60TL-47-32 is an ultra-wide 32-inch carbon gravel rim featuring a 60mm aero depth and 47mm outer width. Engineered for maximum traction and impact resistance on 32er off-road builds.
Key Product Features
-
Massive 32-Inch Diameter Specifically engineered for 32er (B.S.D 686mm) frames, offering superior rollover capability and momentum for extreme gravel and off-road terrain.
-
Ultra-Wide 47mm Profile The 47mm outer width (35mm internal) creates the perfect aerodynamic and stable tire profile for wide gravel tires, reducing rolling resistance and boosting grip.
-
60mm Aero Depth & Stiffness Slices through the wind while maintaining structural stiffness, ensuring maximum power transfer and high-speed stability even on the massive 32-inch platform.
-
Premium T1000 Carbon Layup Crafted with premium Toray T1000 carbon fiber materials, achieving an astonishing rim weight of just 550g even in this massive 32-inch size.
-
Tubeless Ready & UCI Certified Hooked bead design ensures a secure tubeless setup for extreme terrain, backed by UCI certification for competitive racing standards.
REAL-WORLD FAILURE GALLERY
While our rims are rated for 26~35 psi, real-world gravel racing often pushes pressures down to 15-23 psi for maximum traction. This low pressure, combined with thin flange designs, leads to catastrophic rim failures. See how our thick hook and high flange solve this.
How DK Solves This Failure
DK Reinforced Hook & Flange: Extra carbon thickness absorbs heavy rock strikes, preventing cracks and keeping your ride safe in low-PSI gravel racing.
Product Development Process
1 Layup / Pre-molding Process
Precision Ply Cutting & Layering
Using high-grade Toray T700, T800, and T1000 carbon prepregs, material is precisely cut and stacked according to strict engineering blueprints. Every single ply is customized with exact dimensions, multi-angle schedules (0°, 45°, 90°), and controlled layer counts to lay a high-performance foundation.
Optimized Material Staging & Roll Management
In the dedicated material staging zone, high-quality carbon fiber prepreg rolls—ranging from 15–20mm to 20–25mm widths—are systematically organized. Under strict tension and temperature control, the material is prepared for continuous, defect-free feeding into the production line.
Skilled Manual Roll Forming
Highly experienced technicians execute meticulous manual roll forming and lamination. Incorporating hundreds of distinct, multi-angle carbon strips, this hands-on craftsmanship ensures optimal compaction, eliminating air gaps and maximizing structural strength and impact resistance.
2 Molding Process
Dedicated 32-Inch Precision Mold & Alignment
Unlike generic tooling, our factory utilizes high-strength alloy molds specifically designed and machined for this massive 32-inch (686mm) profile. As shown in the photos, the dedicated mold halves are carefully aligned to guarantee flawless compaction, seamless carbon layer bonding, and precise dimensional accuracy during the high-pressure curing process.
